- About this program:
- ********************************************************************************

- Cleanup.Com is a file utility requiring no special knowledge.
-
- Cleanup requires an IBM or compatible Personal Computer running
- under PC or MS-DOS. Control is via the keyboard and no special
- hardware is needed.

- CLEANUP can be used to display the first 10 lines of any file(s)
- you specify and allows you to delete the file(s) if you wish.
-
- Before any file is deleted you will be asked if you wish to delete
- that file.

- You may specify a single file [with a drive and path] or you may
- specify a series of files using the DOS global characters * and ?.

- To use the utility type 'CLEANUP' followed by a valid file name
- which may include a drive and path.

- You may specify a single file or you may use the DOS global
- characters '*' and '?' to specify a series of files.

- SYNTAX = CLEANUP [drive:] [path] FILENAME.EXT
-
- You may also simply type 'CLEANUP' at the DOS prompt. In this
- case a message about usage and syntax will be displayed and
- you will be prompted for a filename.

- If you wish to exit the utility at this time (or any time you
- are prompted for a filename) press the escape key.
-
- If you specify a filename you will be shown directory information
- of the first file which matches the filespec and then the first
- 10 lines of the file.

- You will then be asked if you wish to delete this file.

- If you type 'Y' or 'y' the file will be deleted and the next file
- matching your filespec will be displayed.

- If you type 'N' or 'n' the file will NOT be deleted and the next
- file matching your filespec will be displayed.

- If no more files match your filespec you will be informed of this
- and asked for another filespec. If you wish to exit at this time
- you can do so by pressing the escape key.
